VegiBox Ordering & Delivery Information – Mango Season (March–June)

1. Order Processing & Delivery Schedule

During the Mango Season (mid-March to mid-June), orders placed between Thursday 9:00 AM and Tuesday 9:00 PM will be processed on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the arrival of mango shipments (typically Tuesday night or Wednesday night). Orders will then be dispatched via next-day courier delivery, arriving Thursday or Friday accordingly.

2. Late Orders

Orders placed after Tuesday 9:00 PM may still be processed during the same week depending on stock availability from the latest shipment arrival. If stock is unavailable, the order will automatically be processed the following week as per the schedule above. Customers are advised to contact us on 07859035489 before placing late orders to confirm availability.

3. Mango Quality & Box Inspection

All mangoes are supplied in sealed boxes as received from the source. Prior to customer collection or courier dispatch, we open each box to verify the quantity and perform a basic quality check. Please note that weather conditions and courier handling may occasionally affect fruit quality. However, we take great care in selecting premium quality Devgad Alphonso mangoes from Ratnagiri, and have been safely supplying them to customers in the UK for over 8 years. For best results during transit, we strongly recommend that customers ordering larger quantities place multiple smaller orders. Ideally, no more than 4 dozen mangoes should be ordered per box/order. Packing too many mangoes together can cause heat build-up inside the box during transit, due to the natural warmth generated by the fruit. This may lead to over-ripening or spoilage during delivery. Splitting larger quantities into separate orders helps maintain better airflow, temperature control, and overall fruit quality. If you wish to order more than 4 dozen mangoes, we recommend placing separate orders accordingly. Please feel free to contact us on 07859035489 to discuss larger orders so we can work together to ensure the best possible quality of mangoes reaches you.

4. Natural Characteristics of Mangoes

Mangoes are a highly delicate and natural fruit, and cold weather conditions in the UK may sometimes cause the skin to develop dark spots or patches. This is a natural reaction to temperature changes and does not necessarily indicate that the mango is spoiled. We recommend consuming mangoes within a few days of receiving them, and avoiding storage for more than 3–5 days. Since mangoes are natural produce, it is not possible to inspect the inside of each fruit without cutting it open. Occasionally, fruit that appears normal externally may have natural variations inside. Additionally, when mangoes are harvested, sap from the stem may drip onto the skin, which can later appear as a dark spot once it dries (this is more common with certain varieties such as Paayri). In most cases, this does not affect the quality of the fruit. For these natural characteristics, mango exchanges cannot be offered. Over the past 8 years, we have successfully supplied thousands of dozens of mangoes with overwhelmingly positive customer feedback.

5. Returns & Claims

VegiBox operates a No Refund Policy on all mango boxes and seasonal produce. However, if an entire box is found to be of unacceptable quality, we may review the case at our discretion, provided:
  • We are notified within 1 hour of collection or delivery
  • Photos or videos of each affected mango are provided
  • A group photo of the entire box contents is submitted as evidence

6. Refund Exceptions

In rare cases where VegiBox decides to approve a refund entirely at its discretion, an administrative charge of 10% of the total order value will be deducted.

7. Courier Tracking

Once dispatched, customers will receive tracking details via email or SMS from our courier partners (typically ParcelForce, DPD, or other carriers) using the contact details provided during checkout.

8. Courier Delays

While our courier partners aim to deliver parcels safely and on time, occasional operational delays may occur. VegiBox cannot guarantee delivery times once parcels are handed over to the courier.

9. Responsibility After Dispatch

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, VegiBox cannot accept responsibility for the condition of fruits, vegetables, seasonal products, or other items at the point of delivery. If any issues arise, customers are encouraged to record a video while opening the VegiBox and provide photographs as evidence, and we will review the matter at our discretion. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery address details when placing orders. VegiBox cannot offer refunds for orders lost or undelivered due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.

10. Weather Impact

Extreme heat or cold weather conditions may occasionally affect the freshness of fruits, vegetables, or other products during transit. These are natural factors beyond our control, and VegiBox cannot accept responsibility for such occurrences.
